Experience the natural world in a luxurious resort setting.
Immerse yourself in the pristine tropical beauty of this remote island hideaway at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Landaa Giraavaru.
The luxury island resort of Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru is set in 44 acres of untouched wilderness flanked by one of the largest natural turquoise lagoons in the country. From here guests can snorkel with turtles, manta rays and whale sharks, join pioneering conservation projects in the Marine Discovery Centre, relax and unwind on the white-sand beaches or become immersed in the healing heart of the Spa and Ayurvedic Retreat.
The younger guests can enjoy the Kids for All Seasons kids club which is open to children from 4 to 12 years. Teenagers can hang out in the Majaa Maizan, the resort’s young adults’ centre where they can enjoy a game of pool or table tennis, or enjoy the beach and water sports.
The Ayurvedic Retreat
Ayurveda – the Indian science of life – is one of the world’s most comprehensive approaches to healthy living. It works by bringing balance to our vital energies – or doshas – through an individually tailored combination of treatments, exercise, diet and lifestyle modifications.
With a focus on treating illness, preventing disease and enhancing physical, mental and spiritual well-being, ayurveda teaches us to live with insight and balance.
Set within its own herb garden, lulled by gentle breezes and healing aromas, the Ayurvedic Retreat is an enclave of ancient knowledge and infinite well-being.
Meet with our expert physicians to gain an understanding of your unique body-mind constitution; invest in single treatments or life-changing programs, including our intensive Panchakarma detoxification; visit the Ayurvedic Pharmacy and learn how to make fresh poultices from hand-picked herbs.
Above all, discover 5,000 years of wisdom distilled into one deeply restorative practice.
Complimentary Ayurvedic Wellness Consultation
Ayurveda largely focuses on prevention, meaning one doesn’t have to be ill to benefit from a consultation with one of our ayurvedic physicians. Although some ayurvedic treatments may be taken without prior consultation, we highly recommend that Spa guests avail themselves of the complimentary 30-minute consultation we offer to all Resort guests.
Our physicians will consider the unique needs of the individual to recommend treatments, oils, herbs, food and activities based on individual dosha types. In addition, dosha-specific food labelling is available on all restaurant menus and throughout the breakfast buffet.
Guests booking Ayurevdic Immersions or our intensive Panchakarma detoxification will experience regular consultations throughout their program.
